There’s a new commanding officer at 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron.
Lieutenant-Colonel Jean-Paul Landry took over for Lieutenant-Colonel Philip Marcus during a change of command ceremony at 8 Wing today.
Lieutenant-Colonel Landry joined the Canadian Armed Forces 20 years ago and graduated from the Royal Military College in 2004, working as a Search and Rescue Navigator with 424 Squadron and flying in various missions across Canada, the US and beyond.
Included in that are postings with Operations PODIUM at the 2010 Olympics and Operation Athena in Afghanistan, along with stops in Toronto, 19 Wing Comox BC an others.
