A 47-year-old resident of Trenton is facing drug charges according to Quinte West OPP.
Police say on Monday morning around 2 a.m., officers made a traffic stop on Dundas Street East in Trenton.
Officers arrested Camden Jopp for driving while under suspension.
Further investigation led to the seizure of suspected cocaine, with a street value of $1,000 and a prohibited knife.
Jopp is facing charges of driving while under suspension, possession of a Schedule I substance, possession of a prohibited device and possession of a prohibited device contrary to a prohibition order.
He will appear in Belleville court in October to answer the charges.
