Prince Edward County OPP are extending thanks to some beachgoers who likely saved a woman’s life yesterday (Wednesday) at Sandbanks Provincial Park.
OPP, county firefighters, and Hastings Quinte paramedics responded to the Outlet beach after 4 o’clock after calls reporting a woman was face down in the water.
When emergency responders arrived they found that people had brought the victim to shore and were performing CPR on her.
Paramedics took over and took the woman to hospital in Picton in serious, but non-life-threatening condition.
