A vehicle that ended up in a farmer’s field has resulted in the driver being charged with impaired operation according to Northumberland OPP.
On Sunday around 7 p.m., officers and other emergency personnel responded to a report of a collision on County Road 25 near Phasey Road.
A car had left the roadway and rolled into a field.
The driver was found to be under the influence and taken to hospital as a precaution before being released.
Justin Tisdale, 30, of Warkworth is facing impaired driving charges and will appear in Cobourg court in August.
