A cleanup and damage assessment continues at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital after a water pipe burst early Sunday morning.
The pipe ruptured before 4 o’clock and streams of water flowed from upper to lower floors of the hospital before Napanee firefighters were able to clamp the pipe and stop the flow.
Fortunately, none of the patient care areas were affected but some of the diagnostic equipment became wet and there is significant floor and ceiling damge.
No one was injured in the incident.
