A truckload of support from the Quinte Home Builders Association resulted in a truckload of donations for BGHF.
When the QHBA held their “Truckload of Support” parade through the grounds of Belleville General Hospital last month, the association also asked their members for monetary support.
That resulted in $7,000 raised for BGHF alone.
QHBA CEO Ruth Estwick said, “These donations will be a huge benefit to front line health care workers and our entire community as we rally together to conquer COVID-19.”
Estwick says “In total, together our members have raised $13,000 for Quinte Health Care for the ‘Truckload of Support Initiative’.”
Belleville General Hospital Foundation Executive Director Steve Cook says “The QHBA ‘Truckload of Support’ parade last month not only boosted the morale of our BGH team but also showed the incredible support our Home Builders have for this community.
To raise that much in one night is truly outstanding and we can’t thank the Association members enough for their generosity.
