Northumberland OPP have identified the body of a man found without vital signs earlier this month.
Police say the man is 72-year-old Boyd Woods of Cramahe Township, following a postmortem in Toronto over the weekend.
He was found on May 19 with obvious signs of trauma in an outbuilding on a residential property on County Road 2 east of Colborne.
The investigation is ongoing and police say it is being treated as a homicide.
People can expect to see a number of OPP personnel and vehicles in the area as the investigation continues.
