Last night (Wed/Thurs) alone, officers responded to 11 different locations after complaints about noise from fireworks.
Belleville police remind people that setting off fireworks in the city is against the law without a permit.
Police also understand that the fireworks are set off in fun but people should use some common sense when doing so.
