Quinte Health Care has received a generous donation of much needed personal protective equipment from a longstanding Quinte West industry.
Cable maker Deca Cables, located in Trenton, has donated more than 50,000 masks, both KN95 and surgical types to QHC to be distributed as needed to its four hospitals.
General Manager of Deca Cables Darrell Edgett says seeing so many in the Quinte region pulling together to support each other during the COVID-19 pandemic spurred the company to get involved to make a positive difference throughout the area.
