Farm combine burns up

Belleville firefighters were definitely outstanding in their field early last night.

Shortly after 6 o’clock Thurlow fire halls 3 and 4 were called out to a corn field off Harmony Road
where a combine had burst into flames.

The fire was put out quickly using a combination of water and foam and there were no injuries.

The combine was destroyed but insured with the damage being estimated at $250,000.
