Quick response and action by Belleville firefighters in the supper hour yesterday (Monday) kept damage to a minimum when fire broke out in a house in the city’s west end.
Smoke was seen coming from a house at 29 Bogart Crescent. Flames had started in the kitchen but firefighters had the fire out quickly.
Residents had left the house and no one was injured.
