A former Liberal Member of Parliament for Hastings-Lennox and Addington has landed a job with the federal government.
Mike Bossio, who lost to Conservative Derek Sloan in the last federal election, has accepted a position as Senior Adviser for Rural Affairs and is working in the office of the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Rural Economic Development in Gatineau Quebec.
In a Facebook post Bossio says he’ll be supporting the minister’s efforts to boost broadband coverage and improving roads, bridges, and water/sewer infrastructure in rural areas.
