One of the Belleville Senators’ netminders is being recognized for his work on the team’s recent hot streak.
Filip Gustavsson has been named the CCM/AHL Goalie of the Month for January after putting up a 1.78 goals against average and .942 save percentage over five starts in the month, while allowing just nine goals on 155 shots over that span.
The 21-year-old from Skelleftea, Sweden is in his second full season with the Senators and after a slow start to the campaign, has put together a solid 12-5-2 record, including one shutout.
