Cardiology Department named after Peter Huff

The Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation has unveiled a new plaque to honour one of their largest donours.

On Wednesday afternoon, Catherine and Lanny Huff were honoured, for donating more than $500,000 to TMH.

The hospital named the cardiology suite in memory of the late Peter Huff, Catherine and Lanny’s son

Catherine Huff tells Quinte News that the unit and the hospital is near and dear to their heart.

Darryl Smith is the Board Chair for TMHF.

Wendy Warner is the Executive Director of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.

3,215 patients use the Cardiology Department, and more than 2,100 cardiac patients use the Emergency Department.

Warner says the funds donated by Huff have helped thousands of lives.
