The Trenton Golden Hawks are strengthening their partnership with the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation during a nationally televised game early next year.
CHCH TV will be broadcasting the game on Saturday February 8, 2020, against the Markham Royals.
With the help of Leons Superstore in Trenton, Huff Estates Winery and Smylies Independent, the team will be donning special jerseys, to be auctioned off after the game, in support of the TMHF.
Executive Director Wendy Warner told Quinte West Council on Monday the partnership with the team has grown over the years.
The fundraising goal for the night is $10,000, with all of the money going towards the purchase of priority medical equipment at TMH.
The team also announced that starting in January, the G-Hawks and TMHF will hold a monthly online lottery, with those proceeds to the foundation as well.
