The Belleville Laurier Optical, Chucks Roadhouse, and Bon-west Ltd. Peewee Jr. Bulls had a perfect weekend winning the Annual Oshawa Cup minor hockey tournament.
They beat the Whitby Wildcats 4-3 in the final and outscored their opponents 34-9.
Jack Short was named Belleville’s standout player.
In the same tournament the Belleville World Elite Training Bantam Jr. Bulls earn silver after a 6-3 loss to Sarnia. Reese Nugent and Davin Osmond scored four goals and Joey Coates added 3 in the tournament.
