It was a much drier month than is usual in the Quinte region in September.
According to Environment Canada only 66 millimetres of rain fell on the area last month.
The usual amount of rain in the past many years for a September is 90 mm.
Meanwhile, the average high temperature last month was 22 degrees celsius, a little warmer than the normal 21 degrees.
The average low was 10 degrees which matched the historical average.
