The application window is open for new and expanding businesses to apply for a grant from the Small Business Centre.
The Starter Company Plus program is offering 14 grants of up to $5,000 to help growing or start-up businesses to take the next step in their operations.
Program Coordinator Luc Fournier tells Quinte News, while any business within Hastings, Prince Edward and Lennox and Addington counties is eligible, there are four areas that the Small Business Centre is prioritizing.
Fournier adds that the grants are in addition to other supports offered through the Starter Company Plus program.
He says that they’re expecting the application process to be quite competitive and interested business owners need to apply before October 4.
