5:45 a.m. UPDATE: FIRE UNDER CONTROL
Belleville firefighters are dealing with a car and house fire near the city’s centre this morning (Monday).
Crews responded at 3:10 this morning after reports of a car on fire in a driveway at 6 South Park Street, close to the intersection of Moira Street East.
Flames from the car fire had spread into the back part of the house. All of home’s occupants got out safely.
While the car fire was put out quickly, flames spread up a wall and got into the roof.
