The province has officially posted details about the dismantlement of the White Pines Wind Project in Prince Edward County.
When the Progressive Conservatives were elected last June, they moved to cancel the nine turbine wind energy project, on the south shore of Prince Edward County.
Last week the province announced how WPD will take down fully or partially constructed turbines.
The government says the measures ensure the protection of the local community and surrounding wildlife.
Site restoration, turbine take down, the recreation of heritage features, and keeping local wildlife safe are all part of the decision.
It is still not known what level the compensation will be for cancelling the wind project, but some reports have it as high as $100 million.
