The rising waters of the Bay of Quinte have people scrambling in Trenton at this hour.
Firefighters and City of Quinte West Public Works personnel are currently hard at work building a sandbag wall along the Front Street Parking lot as the waters of the Trent River have breached the banks.

The water is affecting the businesses along the waterfront as well as reaching into the parking lot.
The call went out to firefighters shortly before 1:30 p.m.
They left the scene by 5 p.m
The Bay of Quinte region is once again seeing record water levels for the second time in three years.
