There’s a new flag flying outside the Belleville Police Service headquarters for the next few weeks.
A white and red flag commemorating the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics Ontario was raised Monday morning, with local high school students, Special Olympians and members of the police force marking the occasion.
Detective Constable Darrell Hatfield tells Quinte News the BPS has a long history of supporting Special Olympians in the city.
