Friday afternoon MPP Todd Smith hosted Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Christine Elliott and parliamentary assistant, MPP Robin Martin in Belleville for a round table on Mental Health and Addictions.
Approximately 40 people from 18 agencies attended to share their experience assisting those who require mental health and addiction services.

Parliamentary assistant Martin and Minister Elliott have been touring the province holding mental health and addictions consultations with health care leaders, subject matter experts, sector partners and associations, health service providers and people with lived experience to identify mental health and addiction needs across the province as well as poverty reduction.
Mayors Steve Ferguson, Jim Harrison and Mitch Panciuk attended, as well as MPP Daryl Kramp of Hastings – Lennox and Addington, stakeholders, QHC and the LHIN.
