The man involved in an earlier collision today on 2nd Dug Hill Road has died.
Quinte West OPP say the 33-year-old man from Brighton was taken to Kingston General Hospital by ambulance and succumbed to his injuries.
Police say at approximately 2:35 p.m., police as well as the Quinte West Fire Department and Hastings Quinte EMS responded to 2nd Dug Hill Road north of Loyalist Parkway in the City of Quinte West for a single motor vehicle collision.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until notifications to family have been made.
The highway has been closed for the investigation.
