Belleville’s Hanna Bunton has been named to the 2019 Canadian Women’s Hockey League All Star game.
The 23-year-old Bunton is in her second season with the Vanke Rays which is one of two CWHL teams based in China. She has 3 goals and 6 assists in 13 games. As a rookie last season, the St. Theresa Secondary School graduate scored 26 points in 28 games.
Bunton was Belleville’s Athlete of the Year in 2013.
The CWHL All Star game will be played Wednesday night in Toronto.
