A 42-year-old Belleville man faces first degree murder and attempt murder charges after an 88-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Napanee March 6.
Andrew Slapkauskas was also charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police causing death.
An SUV Slapkauskas was driving sped away in a wild fashion from OPP in Napanee and the pursuit ended with a collision with a car driven by Florence Wyatt-Morris of Napanee. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Slapkauskas remains in custody. The Special Investigations Unit continues its investigation of the crash.
