Frankford residents who have an account with the Bank of Montreal will have to travel a little further to do their banking this summer.
As of 2 p.m. on August 10, 2018, the BMO branch at 2 Mill Street in Frankford will be closing its doors.
This means anyone registered at that bank will be moved over to the Stirling branch at 7 Front Street that same day.
This relocation follows the closure and revamping of the downtown Belleville CIBC, the merger of the downtown RBC with the North Front Street location, both in 2017, the 2015 closure of the 100-year old Marmora TD bank and the closure of the Deseronto CIBC branch in 2016.

Fortunately for folks who are affected by the change, almost everything will remain the same.
Current accounts, loans and investments will all be transferred to the new branch, your account numbers and cheques will remain unchanged and any direct deposits or pre-authorized payments will continue without interruption.
However, if you have a safety deposit box registered at the Frankford branch, you’re being asked to visit by July 27 to close it. If you still need a box opened at the new branch, staff in Stirling will be happy to assist you.

Monday- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Thursday- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Friday- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday/Sunday- Closed
