The good news is that there was no livestock in the barn, but the bad news is that the barn and its contents were destroyed in a fire last night in Northumberland County.
The barn was up in flames around 8 o’clock on Broomfield Road, north of Grafton and just east of the hamlet of Centreton.
Alnwick/Haldimand Cramahe, and Hamilton Township firefighters responded.
Lost in the barn fire were ATVs, a snowmobile and a tractor.
No one was injured.
