Power has been restored to thousands of homes after a massive outage Thursday morning.
About 4400 homes in Quinte West, Campbellford and Brighton found themselves in the dark around 6 a.m.
Hydro One estimated power would be back on to about 1,300 homes by 12 p.m., however the lights came back on around 1 p.m.
The cause of the outage still isn’t known at this time.
