Two Belleville residents were injured in the bus crash in Denbigh Friday morning.
Around 10 a.m., EMS, fire and police were called to Highway 28, near Highway 41, after the bus flipped onto its side.
A Franklin chartered bus from Belleville had a busload of Bancroft Shriners, bound to make a delivery to an Ottawa hospital.
Initial reports had 10 injured, but later reports had that number jump to 26. They were taken to North Hastings Hospital in Bancroft for treatment.
Catherine Walker with QHC says they have protocol for such an incident.
One man from Belleville had a broken arm and wrist, while a Belleville woman had unspecified injuries.
Emergency officials from Belleville, Kingston and the Ottawa Valley were called to the scene, along with Ornge Air Ambulance. Ornge was called off, once crews discovered no life threatening injuries.
