Central Hastings OPP is currently investigating a robbery that occurred today at a pharmacy on Victoria Street in the Municipality of Tweed. At approximately 4:00 p.m. Friday a lone male entered the drug store and demanded narcotics from the pharmacist.
The male suspect is described as 5’5”, average build, olive complexion with 4-5 day facial hair growth. He was wearing baggy dark shorts, white or cream coloured striped shirt with a collar, running shoes and a dark hat with an emblem on it. He was carrying a black knapsack. He left the store with a small quantity of narcotics in an unknown direction.
No weapon was observed. No injuries were reported.
