One man has died as a result of a multi vehicle collision on Hamilton Road last night.
Quinte West OPP, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene at just after 9 and extrication of three people from the vehicles was required.
All three were transported to hospital, with one being airlifted by an ORNGE air ambulance with life threatening injuries.
The 51 year old male later succumbed to his injuries.
Hamilton Road remained closed for several hours until the OPP completed their investigation.
