A Belleville man will spend another two weeks in jail, after a sentence was handed down yesterday in court.
30 year old Eugene Dobratz was arrested last month, after a suspect threatened to burn down a house.
The suspect allegedly fought with police to escape.
He was arrested in the city’s west end and was accused of having pepper spray on him.
Dobratz was charged with threats to damage property, resisting arrest, escaping lawful custody, possession of a prohibited weapon and breach of probation.
Along with his 15 days in jail, he was handed 18 months probation, a ten year weapons ban and must submit to a DNA order.
He was also given 50 days pre-trial custody.
