One of the areas most beloved poets, writers and musicians has cancer.
Kingston’s Gord Downie, front man of The Tragically Hip, has announced he has terminal brain cancer.
He was diagnosed with cancer in December and has been fighting the disease since.
Downie has lead the band to national super stardom and sold millions of albums.
He, along with the rest of the band has announced they will do another tour.
