The Ontario Ministry of Labour has confirmed to Quinte News that a man was injured during a workplace accident yesterday.
The ministry’s William Lin tells Quinte News investigators are looking into the situation.
Details of the extent of the injury, or the man’s identity weren’t confirmed by the ministry, but reports to our newsroom say the man’s hand was severed, but police would only describe the injuries as “critical”.
The ministry says it can’t nail down a time line for an investigation at this point because every case is different.
