A Northumberland County resident is the first laboratory-confirmed case of the H-1-N-1 flu in the county.
The Health Unit says the adult experienced mild symptoms, wasn’t hospitalized, and is recovering.
The Medical Officer of Health, Doctor Lynn Noseworthy, says she’s not surprised, since the number of former and active cases across the province had hit almost 900 earlier this week.
