Prince Edward County Council is pushing ahead with repairs on a popular heritage building, the Macauley House Museum in Picton. Last night, Council moved to apply for a 50 percent grant from the Federal government to the tune of 1.8 million dollars. If the feds come through, it’s hoped some of the County’s 900 thousand dollar share will come from community fund raising.
