The south Murray ward fire hall has a shiny, and impressive new occupant. Last night, Quinte West’s Protective Services Committee was treated to the sight of a brand new Kenworth Pumper truck. The vehicle was purchased on the same order as other trucks bought by the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Fire Department, so instead of the regular price of 266 thousand dollars, only 226 thousand was paid.
