A Prince Edward County man is in trouble after trying to swindle the justice system.
Belleville Police say the 34 year old turned himself in on outstanding warrants Friday at the Belleville courthouse.
Bail court had just finished and the man would have to spend the weekend in jail…so police took the man into custody and conducted a detailed search.
The search allegedly produced eight grams of marijuana, 26 tablets of Oxycontin and a bag of tobacco.
The man now faces additional charges and will appear in bail court tomorrow (MON).
