Two of the largest projects in the history of Prince Edward County can now officially get started. Mayor Leo Finnegan says, yesterday, the Committee of the Whole unanimously approved rezoning the property at Champlain Lookout in Picton for construction of the wastewater treatment plant…and, property on Belleville Street in Wellington which is the site of the new Wellington Arena and Community Centre. The wastewater plant comes with a 26-million dollar price tag and the arena complex in Wellington is roughly 13-million dollars.
