The new 20-thousand square foot Tri-Area Medical Centre in Madoc, housing the Centre Hastings Family Health Team, will hold its official grand opening tomorrow afternoon.
Reeve Tom Deline says the facility will replace a 36-year-old building, a short distance away on Saint Lawrence Street.
Two doctors and a nurse practitioner will start working at the centre in about a week, and they’ll be joined by another family physician this summer, and another doctor next year.
The official ribbon cutting at the 2.7-million-dollar Tri-Area Medical Centre is set for two o’clock tomorrow, with tours starting an hour later.
