The Kawartha-Pine Ridge School Board has set a 362-million-dollar 2009 budget.
The budget committee struck the document last night, and it will now go to the board for final approval on June 8th.
Provincial funding, based on enrolment, is decreasing, because the board expects a dropĀ of over one-thousand students in September.
The budget includes allocating one-and-a-half-million dollars above the provincial grant amount for special education, resources to support continued emphasis on student achievement, and speciality programs such as Young Moms and Champions for Youth.
