Brighton council will be looking to the government for some money to help with the revitalization of the town’s waterfront. The request will be sent off to the Recreational Infrastructure Canada Program (RINC) which is designed to help support the upgrading and rewnewal of recreatinoal facilities which can be completed by March 31st 2011. Brighton council has chosen the redevelopment of the Harbour Street Park adn Prince Street East Canoe and Kayak launch as it’s candidate for funding. In total… council is looking for just over 141 thousand dollars which would represent two-thirds of the total project cost.
Applications have to be received by Friday May 29th.
