A fire alarm system saved a Prince Edward County business from being destroyed by fire on the weekend. Because of the alarm, County firefighters were able to limit damage to just 10 thousand dollars near a window at J J’s Restaurant in Bloomfield. The fire occurred very early Sunday morning. It’s believed an unattended candle started some window dressing on fire.
