Belleville Police are continuing to investigate after a hit and run incident in the city this morning.
It happened at a North Front Street bar where police say a Jeep Cherokee had struck a parked car and fled the scene.
The parked car also left the scene before police could arrive… but they located both vehicles on Tracey Park Drive.
Officers searched one car regarding a liquor offence… and the officer found brass knuckles and a large knife.
Those items were seized and both vehicles were towed to the pound.
No word if any charges were laid.
