It’s International Nurses Week….and, local nurses were honoured for excellence at a dinner in Belleville last evening. Tammy Armstrong received the Rotary Club Award of Merit while Tara Fitzgerald, Armi Lajunen and Ticey Rashotte were named outstanding nurses of the year. The dinner at the Banquet Centre was hosted by the Quinte chapter of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario and Local 31 of the Ontario Nurses Association.
