More than 100 Quinte-area volunteers were honoured by the province…including one woman who has logged more than 60-years of serving her community. She is Betty Henley…a member of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Last night she received a pin from Prince Edward-Hastings MPP Leona Dombrowsky at a ceremony at the Banquet Centre. 124 awards were handed out…many for 40-years of unpaid service for a long list of organizations…in all representing more than 1,938 years. June Callwood awards were presented to the Hastings Agricultural Museum in Stirling and the Centre Hastings Skatepark Committee.
