The proposal for a 50-million dollar resort with 237-cottages on East Lake in Prince Edward County gets to the rezoning application stage next month. The developer Cottage Advisors of Canada has made 11-changes to the plan. It’s bringing the 11-th version to an Open House in advance of the County’s planning committee meeting in June. President Chip Hall says it includes a “state of the art” sewage treatment system. But County planner Ryan Leary says he expects some objections from residents of the area… possibly regarding size of development, traffic noise, and loss of view of an old growth sugar bush.
