A Belleville man won’t be hunting for three years after shooting a truck while moose hunting in Northern Ontario. 51-year old Michael Chamberlain pleaded guilty to discharging his firearm across a road north of Terrace Bay. Along with the hunting ban…Chamberlain has also been fined $2,000. The incident occured in October on a main logging road. Court was told the driver of the pickup stepped out to take pictures of a bull moose on the road when the bullet struck a rearview mirror, shattered a passenger-side window, pierced both front and rear seats and exited the rear of the cab.
