Most boats are back in the water anticipating a long warm season on the Bay of Quinte….except for about 100 boats which remain on their cradles at the former Morch Marina. The Belle Harbour Marina was placed into receivership last year and the property is now gated off due to insurance concerns. The Intelligencer reports BDO Dunwoody is the receiver for the company. An official says they are in discussion with a local operator interested in running the marina this year, but, the main objective is to sell the property. In the meantime, boating enthusiasts are left high and dry.
